Rory McCormick, Astrologer, has moved on
After ten months at the Hummingbird, our in house astrologer Rory has moved on to other life adventures. Rory was a great asset to the Hummingbird, well liked by all our clients, and will be greatly missed. We wish him the best in his new pursuits.
Inflation continues in Iquitos
Inflation continues to be a problem in Iquitos, along with a slow, but steady degradation of the exchange rate. Due to these economic preasures we need to raise the prices for our retreats and workshops. Please see our Prices page for our updated price schedule.
Maestro Eladio Melendez Garcia
Eladio has become a true blessing to the Hummingbird Center and its clients. His light hearted and playful manner, and incredible skill with healing have enhanced the lives of many. Since his arrival many have already made plans to return in the near future, some to learn to work with the medicine. In addition to his healing skills, Eladio is a natural teacher delighting in sharing what he has learned.
Recently a young man was healed of eczema that had covered most of his body for 2 years. Eladio is continuing the success we have had in the past treating depression with several clients having major shifts in their daily experience of life.
Eladio does a great deal of healing work outside of ceremony, and asks for private conversations with clients on a regular basis. His attitude is simple - "there is no problem without a solution". To date, all have left happy with what they have received.
